You will be redirected shortly; or click here ABOUT EKAHI VILLAGE & WAILEA: A favorite destination for discriminating travelers from all over the world for nearly 30 years, our ocean front village consists of 54 buildings with 4-11 units each on 34 acres of beautiful, mature grounds. There are only 2 stories to each building. There are no elevators for those units on the upper level. Wailea is located on the southwest side of the island about 20 minutes from Kahului Airport between Kihei and Makena. There are several excellent hotels in here and in Makena. We are the "quiet" side of the island - about 35 minutes from Lahaina and 50 minutes from Kaanapali (west side). Wailea is known for its reliable weather (this is the sunny side), and lots of excellent golf and water sports (Molokini island is near by for some amazing snorkeling). There are several exceptional restaurants and lots of others within 15 minutes of the condo – several are walkable on the beach or sidewalks in Wailea. Keawakapu Beach (kay ah vah ka’ puh) may be the best walking and snorkeling beach on our side of the island. If you prefer a firmer surface for your wanderings, sidewalks run throughout the resort and beginning at the Renaissance Hotel next door, a boardwalk runs south along the oceanfront for several miles. Wailea Resort also has 3 beautiful golf courses and a tennis club. Remember - the greens break to the water - even when it looks "up hill". THINGS TO DO ON MAUI: The grounds of Ekahi are unparalled. It seems a new vision of paradise is around every corner. We often start our days with a 2 mile walk down the beach and boardwalk. On the way back we take a refreshing dip in the ocean and sometimes stop for a beachfront massage at the Renaissance Hotel. You may prefer to "veg" on the beach but for those looking to see more of this paradise try a journey to the tropical Hana coast and Seven Pools, visit Haleakala volcano for sunrise, hike the lush Iao Valley or venture to Molokini for snorkeling treats. January through March the whales put on a spectacular show - often visible right from our ocean front pool. The World Wind Surfing Championships are often held near the airport in Spreckelsville. I have a packet with directions, maps, things to do, contact numbers for golf and tennis, etc that I mail after full payment is received. I can send info on reduced rate car rentals or brochures for Wailea Golf and Tennis upon request. If our unit isn’t available I can often recommend others. We're still adding finishing touches but it is truly a refreshing hide-a-way. Come see for yourself why the Hawaiians say "Maui No Ka Oi" (Maui is the best!)
